Upper Deck is Hiring a Project Coordinator Near Durham, NC

SUMMARY
Responsible for facilitating communication and coordinating daily production between internal departments and external production vendors for a manufacturer of licensed sports & entertainment properties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by an individual assigned to this job. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Managing vendor held Inventory for consumer products (e.g., trading cards)
  • Preparing Request for Quotes (RFQ) for new and existing product lines & projects.
  • Preparing and submitting Purchase Requisitions (REQ) for new and existing product lines & projects.
  • Managing the End of Job inventory and keeping an accurate and up to date record for internal partners
  • Posting all production documentation to Intranet site and external vendors
  • Attending weekly production meetings
  • Photographing and posting pictures to internal partners for social media updates
  • Working with internal partners to ensure all components for “pack out” are at the vendor in time.
  • Monitoring Project Server scheduling system to make sure all operations dates are met.
INTERACTION
This position will interact with internal co-workers in North Carolina and California on a daily basis. Communication will involve all level throughout the company, interacting with position such as: Vice President of Operations, Sr. Project Manager, Quality Assurance Manager, Product Manager, Redemption Manager, Purchasing Manager, Project Managers and Project Coordinators in CA. In addition they will communicate with outside vendors and manufacturers.
EDUCATION/YEARS EXPERIENCE
  • College Degree or Equivalent work experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Expert level at Microsoft Office
  • Great General Internet and computer skills
  • Interpersonal Communication skills required
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Knowledge or exposure of Project Server a plus
  • Familiarity with the printing process a plus
